The high temperature cable can work normally and smoothly at the rated high temperature, the data signal or power transmission characteristics will not be compromised, and the cable has a long service life. This kind of cable is the most common type of high-temperature cable, and the application characteristics are also the most conducive to understanding.


The key to the increased load type high temperature cable is to reduce the diameter and net weight of the cable under the premise of ensuring the current carrying, and develop a trend towards lightness. Under normal circumstances, the higher the working temperature of the cable, the greater the cable current carrying capacity of the cable with the same cross-section.


In places such as airports and trolleys, the practical significance of reducing net weight is very large, and the application of high-temperature cables greatly reduces the cross-section. When the working temperature rises from 90°C to 155°C, the current carrying capacity increases by 50%. Under the same cable current carrying capacity, the net weight of the cable is reduced by 1/2, and the cost is also reduced to a certain extent. Of course, in addition to the high current cutoff, the power loss of most of the outer insulating materials will also increase.
