What is the method of using the heat shrinkable cable gland? Where can it be used?

Heat-shrinkable cable caps, commonly known as heat-shrinkable finger cots or heat-shrinkable gloves, are named for their shape resembling human palms and fingers. They are made of cross-linked polyolefin materials and hot-melt adhesives, and are placed on multi-core cable core branches. It shrinks when heated, and the hot melt adhesive on the inner wall will stick the cable tightly to protect it from water and moisture. The radiation cross-linked polyolefin material on the outer layer can play the role of electrical insulation protection.
1. How to use the heat-shrinkable cable cap

1. Sand the outer protective layer at the end of the power cable or communication cable, then clean it with a clean rag, and then put on the heat shrinkable cable sealing cap.

2. Heat the heat shrinkable cable gland so that it shrinks on the end of the cable. What we need to pay attention to here is that it must be heated evenly when heating, so that the sealing cap is fully shrunk, so that the hot melt adhesive on the inner wall of the heat shrinkable cable sealing cap overflows evenly. Only in this way can the sealing and waterproof effect be achieved.

3. The bottom part of the cap is not coated with glue, please shrink the end first, and then grill it down.

4. The flame should not be too fierce, stop grilling when it shrinks in place and the glue overflows.

5. After grilling, please put the end against it, and release the end after the temperature drops.

Second, the use of heat shrinkable cable caps

Heat-shrinkable cable glands have the functions of anti-oxidation, ozone, ultraviolet radiation, etc., and are composed of cross-linked polyolefin materials and hot-melt adhesive double layers, with excellent water resistance. They are mainly used in the storage and transportation of power cables and communication cables For end protection, our company's heat-shrinkable cable sealing cap is mainly composed of radiation cross-linked polyethylene material, and hot-melt adhesive is applied to the mouth end.

It is mainly used for insulation and waterproofing at the end of power cables or communication cables. Suitable for outdoor and underground protection with PVC, lead, or XLPE cables. It is used for the sealing and insulation protection of the branch of the multi-core cable core, which is easy to operate, reliable in performance and long in service life.
