Weak current cable refers to the cable used for security communication, electrical equipment and related weak current transmission purposes. There is no strict boundary between "wire" and "cable". Usually the product with a small number of cores, a small product diameter and a simple structure is called a wire, and the one without insulation is called a bare wire, and the others are called cables; A large cross-sectional area of conductors (greater than 6 square millimeters) is called a large wire, a smaller (less than or equal to 6 square millimeters) is called a small wire, and an insulated wire is also called a cloth wire.
Weak current cable naming principle
Weak current cable composition
Composed of inner conductor, insulation, outer conductor and sheath from inside to outside;
Inner conductor: Since attenuation is mainly caused by the resistance of the inner conductor, the inner conductor has a great influence on signal transmission
Insulation: affect attenuation, resistance, return loss and other properties
Outer conductor: loop conductor, shielding effect
Weak current cable naming principle
1. What is included in the product name
(1) Product application or size class name
(2) Product structure material or type;
(3) Important features or additional features of the product
Names are basically in the order described above, and sometimes features are written before or before the corresponding structural description to emphasize important or additional features.
2. The order of structure description
The product structure description is based on the principle of inside to outside: conductor - > insulation - > inner sheath - > outer sheath.
3. Simplify
Without causing confusion, some structure descriptions are written in omission or abbreviation.
For example:
SYV 75-5-1(A, B, C) S: RF Y: POLYETHYLENE INSULATION V: PVC SHEATH A: 64 B: 96 C: 128 75:75 OHM 5: WIRE DIAMETER 5MM 1: REPRESENTS A SINGLE CORE
SYWV 75-5-1 S: RF Y: Polyethylene insulation W: Physical foam V: PVC sheath 75:75 ohms 5: Cable outer diameter is 5mm 1: Represents single core
RVVP2*32/0.2 R: Flexible wire VV: Double sheath wire P shield 2: 2 core multi-strand wire 32: 32 copper wires per core 0.2: Each copper wire diameter is 0.2mm
ZR-RVS2*24/0.12 ZR: Flame retardant R: Flexible wire S: twisted pair 2:2 core multi-stranded wire 24: 24 copper wires per core 0.12: Each copper wire diameter is 0.12mm
